Apertus has now been fully integrated into EagleCHAT. Apertus is an open language model from Switzerland, developed by ETH Zurich, EPFL and CSCS. It supports more than 1,000 languages, including Swiss German and Romansh, and discloses its entire architecture as well as the data sources used. The model was trained on 15 trillion words (tokens).
The integration of Apertus considerably expands EagleCHAT: users benefit from the broad range of tasks and possibilities of modern LLMs while at the same time gaining unique transparency, multilingualism and high standards of data protection.

Our AI solutions are developed for the requirements of the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the EU GDPR. Your data remains your property, is stored exclusively in Switzerland and is reliably protected against third-party access.
The Swiss “data location” is often used to give customers a false sense of security. Yet the location of the data alone does not protect against uncontrolled access. The “Swiss Hosting” label, however, creates transparency in the cloud business. It clearly shows both B2B and B2C customers for which providers and applications data access is legally binding only via Swiss authorities and under Swiss law. If control of a company lies abroad, supervision by the Swiss authorities automatically ends.
